For the absolute best experience, use Firefox. If you have to use another browser try Safari or Google Chrome. If you must use Internet Explorer, we  recommend at least IE7. If you have to browse with IE6...we wish you could be here, But you can't. It can't do anything, really.  Use a more compliant browser instead. It's good for you and it'll let you see the video, pictures and everything else too.

2-My live concert is "Buffering".

Answers:

A -- Pause it and do something else for a couple of minutes. Sometimes, if you let the video stream ahead, the buffer fills up quite nicely and, assuming your machine is up to the task, you should be good to go.

B -- What if my machine is not up to the task?

-We will have an audio-only Broadcast soon for the "bandwidth challenged". Cross our hearts and so on. We are not leaving you out.

C -- We try to separate each Band/Artist's performance for them, and the only way to do this at this time is to very very briefly stop and re-start the live broadcast.

D -- The connection where we are on certain nights/days (although this is very rare) is weak, and even though we crank all of our settings down very low, it's still too much to pump through our connection on those nights/days. We ARE trying to make sure most of the places we normally broadcast live from have the strongest Cable or better connections-plus our portable connection should be even stronger now.

E -- You're wireless and it's just too weak to handle the amount of data that will be coming in--in real-time. If at all possible, try to plug in directly to your modem or router.

3-I don't see what I am looking for in your Menu bar at the top of the screen.

Answer-Each Menu item at the top of the screen has MULTIPLE drop down menus. There is a 99.9% chance that what you are looking for can be found from our drop down menus. All you have to do is "hover" your mouse over any particular item and you will see all of the drop downs--just click on the item you wish to access and voila!

4-I am getting an Internet Explorer 6 Message popping up.

Answer-Please upgrade your Internet Explorer IMMEDIATELY as Internet Explorer 6 is EXTREMELY vulnerable to viruses, hackers, spam, pop-ups and every other bad thing that can possibly happen to your computer. If you absolutely INSIST on using Internet Explorer, at least you should have the latest version-please Click Here.

Although-please keep in mind the absolute, without a single doubt BEST, safest, fastest and every other good thing Browser is Mozilla Firefox (yes, and it's free too!). Please Click Here to get your computer a good browser for a change.

5-I can't find all of the cool things that used to be on the "old Dirty South TV" like all of the Artist Bio's and Interviews and stuff like that.

Answer-We had more content than a person could read in one lifetime, and we promise we will have it all back up as soon as we can. It took us 3 years to get all of that cool stuff compiled and up the first time and hopefully we can get it all back up before year's end.

6-Sometimes the picture is crystal clear, maybe even hi-def-and sometimes it's kinda smeared and choppy.

Answers:

A-There is a VERY LARGE (in the tens of thousands or higher) number of people tuning in for that particular live concert-which is eating up EXTREME amounts of bandwidth.
B-The outgoing connection where we are at that particular time is not strong enough to keep up with the number of people tuning in (usually in the thousands or tens of thousands).
For Example-Whenever we broadcast The Barry Richman Band, The Derek St. Holmes Band or the U.S. R&B sensation Lloyd, EXTREME numbers of members tune in for those shows. Dirty South TV had WELL OVER 300,000 people tune in in 2008 and we are expecting to surpass a million viewers in 2009, and we are already off to a real nice start! Please keep in mind we have achieved all of this with ZERO Advertisement, and that will be changing in 2009 as we have an industry changing marketing plan for the second half of 2009.

7-Lighting-If the lighting is not good, we can "try" to work with the club in between sets, but please remember--it's the club's lights-not ours.
Sound-Any sound problems would be the band and the club. We can try to advise them, but in the end it is up to them to make any necessary adjustments.
Sorry we do not have full control over these situations.
