About Dirty South TV

Dirty South T.V. is the brainchild of Giuseppe Colato
Larry and Kari Savage Wedding

It all started one day in October of 2005 when he turned on MTV and they weren't playing music, they instead were airing a so-called "Reality T.V. show". Next channel, VH-1, the same exact story. Next channel, B.E.T, the very same story. That's the three so-called "big" music television channels and not 1 song on between them. Giuseppe gets a little unnerved and throws in a Sade CD and cranks it up to finally calm down so he can get ready to go out that night. He promises to himself if he can ever develop a "Real" music television channel that he will because people deserve to have music in their lives; everyone already has too much "reality" in their lives.

Dirty South T.V. Phase-2:

Giuseppe accidentally meets Patrick Kirkland (the President of Warrior South Records) at one of Patrick's sons' Ryles football games while he was there to see another friends' son play. Coincidentally the two sons are some of the better players on their team, the Vikings. It was a good game and yes, the Vikings won handily! After meeting and talking, the subject of music comes up and Patrick invites Giuseppe back to his home after the game to hear his latest project-"Hit The Street Hard Vol.1", which is a 14 track Rap, Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae Compilation CD featuring 14 new Artists-9 from Atlanta, 2 from Miami, 2 from New Orleans and 1 from Los Angeles. The CD is rather good which gets Giuseppe's mind going and he ends up impressing Patrick with some video ideas for some of the tracks. Patrick hires Giuseppe on the spot to head up the Marketing Department of Warrior South. Much hard work around the clock gets the CD placed in 22 local Atlanta CD shops. Then the deal with FYE gets landed (1,100 stores nationwide). The next step was the promotion to Director of A & R.

Dirty South T.V. Phase-3:

Video ideas start flying through Giuseppe's head, he turns on the TV to try and see what's going on in the video world and guess what happens next-not a single Music Video on any of the three big Viacom-enslaved victims, nothing but commercials, "reality crap" and yet more advertisements. It's now 5:48 a.m. (48 minutes past Giuseppe's bedtime) and he struggles to fall asleep. The dream of "Dirty South TV" hits him at about 6:30 A.M., Giuseppe jumps up and starts writing, typing and planning the details of Dirty South TV.

Dirty South T.V. Phase-4:

It is written, carved in stone and smoke signaled that Dirty South TV will air music videos at least 20 hours per day, 365 days per year. The difference being that previously undiscovered Artists will be the main featured Artists on Dirty South TV (which IS a Music Video FIRST), with widely recognized Artists videos only filling in. Once the Dirty South TV's Studio bursts at the seams with "New" Artists Videos they will be broken down into specific classifications. Another key feature-Artists will be broadcast live from either the Miami or the Atlanta Dirty South Television Studios. There will be Music and Music Video "Tributes" to all of Music's greatest influences from every music genre at least once per week and Artist interviews of both new and already famous Musical Artists. The V.J.'s if Giuseppe has his way will be mostly "Suicide Girls" (this is currently being pursued), and guest V.J.'s being different D.J.'s, Music Artists, Athletes, Movie/Television Stars, other Celebrity Types as well as random people found in the streets. There will be other selected cities that will "host" certain airings live once a week, mostly but not limited to the 13 Southern States. ALL Music genres will be represented thoroughly and respected highly. The Dirty South TV website will be the first Broadcast Format with Cable Television, Satellite Television, Satellite Radio, F.M. Radio and A.M. Radio respectively soon following. For way too many years the so called "Music Industry" has only let the "lucky few" through to the people. Someone happened to know someone, someone paid someone off or a select few actually got "discovered". All that WILL be changed from now on. It's Dirty South TV's mission to bring the whole world to every single Music Artist that has a Music Video or the desire to have a Music Video made, which coincidentally Dirty South TV can help them achieve.

Dirty South T.V. Phase-5:

Dirty South TV launches The Girls of The Dirty South/ Dirty South Girls ( DSG). A full blown Marketing Team of girls either born in, raised in or currently residing in one of the 13 Original Southern States or Territories who have either a tattoo/s, body piercing/s or body branding/s that go out and help Events out with promotions. The marketing Team is an immediate success and begins to travel all around the Southern United States promoting local music. After a year of running the Promotion Team, G decides to put the team on hiatus to concentrate more on TV Channels and their content.

Dirty South T.V. Phase 6:

Dirty South TV launches their first live weekly show "Live Sessions From The Dirty South" every Monday night from 7:p.m.-11:p.m. Eastern Standard Time. It becomes an immediate success and within three months becomes the number one weekly show for independent music in the world and still continues to hold that title.

Dirty South T.V. Phase 7:
The first Re-design Stages;

Dirty South TV enlists the help of Panama City, Florida based Team 7-365 Media to begin the steps towards bringing Dirty South TV to the look, feel and functionality of G's original dream. Headway is immediately made in the right direction and progress ensues immediately.

Then comes "Super Dave". Super Dave is the owner of Intricate Web Solutions.
One night Dave tuned in to Live Sessions From The Dirty South to see his favorite band Holdcell perform on Live Sessions From The Dirty South. In the middle of Holdcell's performance Dave wrote in to Dirty South TV and asked if they would like some help in getting to the next step, that he was very experienced in the type of Super web-portal that Dirty South TV was etc. G. writes back to Dave thanking him for his very respectful yet very informative e-mail and a phone call later Dave comes into the Dirty South TV Family and very quickly gets his new well deserved name "Super Dave". Super Dave, Super Dirty (G.) and Team 7-365 Media get to work on all kinds of technology to make Dirty South TV the premiere place in the entire world to see and hear the best independent artists and bands...more to come soon!

Dirty South T.V. Phase 8:
The Redevelopment Stages;

Dirty South TV is now full on into the new technology development stages. As we constantly try to create even better broadcast technology, we're also streamlining what we currently have, how it runs, and where it runs.

Dirty South TV is also adding most of the features of popular web-sites, most of which are also community driven. In the end, we will be a one stop shop for your online entertainment.

Dirty South T.V. Phase 9:

Here comes Liz Lee strolling through the door one fateful Monday night. More to come on that soon!

Dirty South T.V. Phase 10:

Dirty South TV looks for, finds and even creates new ways to streamline live internet broadcasting. Through a multi-business deal, Dirty South TV expects to be on "The Fastest Internet Connection in The World" by February 1st, 2011. Originally seeking less expensive web hosting and even more faster speed, through multiple meetings with several web big-wigs, Dirty South TV creates the idea that "we should all team up on this new connection". Everyone agrees, and litterally history is now being made by these very innovative companies.
