Country Star's home lost to fire
Country music star Trace Adkins has lost his entire home to a fire.
Tennessee Fire officials tell us that Adkins' home in the Nashville suburb of Brentwood was a total loss after the fire broke out this past Saturday afternoon.
Adkins was not home, but his wife and children were. His wife, Rhonda, and their children got out safely. 911 and Fire Department Dispatchers said every Brentwood, Tennessee firefighter, including those off duty at the time, were called out to the fire.
The blaze was reported at 3:35 p.m. and firefighters remained on scene well into the evening.
Adkins is scheduled to play the CMA Music Festival next Saturday, then he heads to Alaska for shows beginning June 8th, 2011.
No word yet on when he will sneak a flight home to be with his family--but you can bet it will be soon, if it already hasn't happened.
